Tracy Adkins promoted to associate vice president for academic technology and service delivery

Tracy Adkins has been promoted to the role of associate vice president for Academic Technology and Service Delivery, effective Feb. 20.

With over 20 years of experience in academic technology and higher education, Adkins brings a wealth of expertise to this position. Before joining ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø (GGC) in 2021, she served as the director of learning technology at Georgia State University. She holds both a Master of Education in instructional technology and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Georgia College and State University.

In her expanded role, she will continue to lead the administration of MyCourses (Brightspace by D2L) and oversee classroom and event technology support. Adkins will also take on senior leadership responsibilities for Information Technology (IT) service management and computer support, spearheading initiatives to improve service delivery across IT. These efforts will focus on streamlining operations, enhancing user experiences and driving the adoption of technology standards. Additionally, she will officially assume leadership of IT-related aspects of design and construction projects, including renovations.
