The Spring 2025 ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø (GGC) Creativity, Research, Engagement and the Arts Transform Everyone (CREATE) Symposium, one of GGC’s signature events, will remain a hybrid event this semester on the dates below. The Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities (URSCA) Committee organized the event to allow students and faculty an opportunity to showcase their scholarship and creative activities conducted during each semester.

In-person sessions

  • Thursday, April 24, 2-3:15 p.m. in Building A
  • Sign in: Building A lobby between 1:30-2 p.m.

Virtual sessions

  • Friday, April 25, 2-3:30 p.m. on Zoom

Submission deadline

  • March 31, 11:59 p.m.

The URSCA Committee will compile the Spring 2025 GGC CREATE Symposium proceedings that includes all the presentation abstracts.

Presentations are now being accepted via the above submission form, which can be completed by student presenters or the faculty advisors. Incomplete and/or late proposals cannot be guaranteed a place in the program.

Note that faculty advisors will need to be available during their students’ presentations to serve as session moderators. If advisors are not available to moderate sessions for their student(s), either faculty members or students will need to designate a moderator in the submission form.

It may be possible to have a member of the URSCA Committee moderate a session, but please arrange this in advance of submitting the presentation with the committee chair, Dr. Shuting Xu, professor of information technology.

Faculty advisors moderating the virtual sessions on Friday, April 25, will need to familiarize themselves and their student presenters with presenting and moderating functions in Zoom.

If you have questions about the event, contact the URSCA Committee chair listed above.
