You’re invited: African American Male Initiative Summit: He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother – Dream Big

Registration is now open for the 2025 African American Male Initiative (AAMI) Summit: He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother – Dream Big event, which will take place 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, March 28, in the Daniel J. Kaufman Library & Learning Center, The Heritage Room.
This free event is open to all ÆÞÓÑÉçÇø (GGC) faculty, staff and students of all races, genders and identities. The summit will bring together GGC’s campus community for important conversations on the experiences of Black males and the impact of the AAMI-Elite Scholars programs.Â
This year’s theme is Dream Big. Together, we will explore how to set aspirational goals, visualize success and take the necessary steps to turn dreams into reality. We will also dive into strategies for overcoming challenges, staying motivated and pushing beyond limitations. Through insightful discussions, you will learn the power of resilience and determination and the importance of a supportive network in achieving success.Â
