Dr. Negar Orangi-Fard, assistant professor of mathematics, published the peer-reviewed paper, “,” in the in the "MDPI Journal of Informatics." In this work, she created a predictive model for 30-day readmission risk of ICU patients. ICU readmission risk prediction may help physicians re-evaluate patient physical condition before discharge and avoid preventable readmission and death.
